OK, talk about full bloodlust over the Pet Shop Army’s demise. I mean, everybody chill the freak down for the Pet Shop Army’s gruesome demise please? “Operation No Second Chances” are already making sure that the Pet Shop Army will get their commupance one way or anothe, especially after their two big cheese already earn a Yellow Card (Strike 1) for their profane and uncouth tone to mock and taunt Eri’s morality-something these furballs took for granted-and said card has turned Orange (Strike Two) for trying kill the Humans in front of Eri and the two just to assert authority . Remember, the Human Shield thing was Plan A, and we still haven’t seen the Pet Shop Army’s Plan B yet so…
BTW, instead of seeing the Pet Shop Army’s inevitable demise, shouldn’t anybody at least wonderIng Mera’s mission for finding at least ONE decent humanoid furball among the Pet Shop Army as Light tasked? Because, ya know, finding even ONE is as hard as finding another Genesis Class weapon or item that matches God Burial Gungnir’s dreed and prowess. Not to mention that given how evil both Gamm and Lebard truly are, you can safe to say that each and everyone very one of these fools are as evil as Garuu, if not even more so.
Original WN’s difference from both LN and Manga
A minor difference from original WN and both LN and Manga is that, much like Chapter 133, Eri did it all by herself in teleporting everybody except herself outta here
Moments between Miya and Li…*ahem* , Dark aside, this chapter shows how royally screwed the Pet Shop Army truly are for being unprepared for the upcoming stuff that wasn’t briefed by the two big cheese of Dumb and Dunber. For we the readers though? “Operation No Second Chances” now entering Phase 2 after Eri and the LVL8888 “brothers” completed the Phase 1 by rescued ALL the Human prisoners-both forced volunteers and especially the hostages- from the beastmen. However, the Pet Shop Army’s copium is still there when Mr. Beagle (Gamm) and Fat Cat (Lebard) assume that they still have a “winning chances” just because Eri and the LVL8888 “brothers” stay behind instead of escaping with everyone but this soon to be a miscalculation that will get them into even bigger trouble. You see, Eri brings out a knife and drops it on the ground instead of summoning her dragons as the elders’ suspected (and I keep saying once again, the dragons are the LEAST of their problems), with the said knife activates a spell that takes EVERYONE-both the trio AND the Pet Shop Army- to a twisted stage scene that inspired from both infamous Eclipse scene from “Berserk” and Red Arremer’s stage from SVC Chaos! So, NOW that these furballs are panicking after seeing such scene-a rather befitting one, given their own earlier gloats about “Humans are inferior” shtick not too ago, to the point both Mr. Beagle and Fat Cat become speechless out of confusion. Either way, “Operation No Second Chances” proceeds with Eri reveal said knife is “World is World”-a Mythological Class item Light bestowed her back in Chapter 125- and manga ends with a cliffhanger where Eri and the LVL8888 “brothers” floating on the sky and she declares the opening of the calls Tango of Carnage onto the trapped Pet Shop Army as she wanted. How will the beastmen respond?
Now that I think I think about it, this Eclipse inspired scenery is VERY beffitting for these furballs who took the Humans’ vulnerability for granted and given that it is a Mythological Class Magic Item, best to believe that even their claws and fangs will be easily broken like Nano’s own toys before they can even scratch that dome of doom. Now those Beastmen will put themselves into the shoes of their own vicitims they once mocked and tortured for their own sadistic pleassures. Oh wait, I forgot that they don’t even wear shoes.
A bit some details from personal observation,
Even with a “Fire Wall”, the irritating part is that some of these cats are still alive and narrowly just got face instead of becomes fried cat cakes that further adding the confusion among these beastial fiends. Well, these fools better less worry about not killing fhe Human hostages in time and more about what’s coming for them.
The interaction between Miya and Dark (Light) is very heaetwarming as our MC apologizes for the late rescue and vows to protect her from now on which make the girl flusteredI wonder if this garners some admiration from the girl? Erm, do anybody forget about Erio?
The whole crew is here. Gold is here, the Mohawk Gang is here and… wait. Someone is missing. I wonder who?
Mini scene where she too decides to go poet mode like Orca for praising her lord (I mean, Dark) a whole lot. Way too lot. I mean, if Miya’s valor from the last chapter has enough garnered even Chaos of all people, then I can get. However, I sincerely HOPE that Eri’s praise too much that she may accidentally expose Dark’s real identity to everyone.
Fat Cat’s (Lebard) inner monologue using his own toys that is given by “that man” to kill Eri before Eri can summon the dragon. First of all, good luck on that, dude but here is the most important part: Who is “that guy” Fat Cat is refering to and did Mr. Beagle even know this? Small wonder why he went along with Mr. Beagle’s plan back in Chapter 119 (I believe?)..
Speaking back Fat Cat, much like his archrival from Chapter 133, he sense something is very off about what Eri and her attendants did but shrugs it off because his archrival Mr. Beagle said so. Given that he too mocked Eri’s morality the most, you know that this dude will be deep fried along with other pet shop rejects…
